THE PROBLEM
With Nazi symbols and racial slurs flooding the halls of my high school, I planned to stop this. Nowadays, there is a lack of awareness of the detrimental effects that these terms have and people, especially young kids, say words without knowing the meaning of what they are saying.

I hosted an assembly to an audience of over 400 people right before Veterans Day in order to show them the importance of respecting other cultures.
I ran this event from start to finish. I decorated, designed, facilitated, and set up the event overall. I contacted the veterans, the media team, and different organizations about this event.
